English Lesson Slideshow: My School Library

Topic: My School Library

1. Introduction

My school library is a treasure trove of knowledge and my favourite place to spend free time. It is a large, quiet hall filled with tall bookshelves arranged in neat rows. Thousands of books on various subjects are available, from fascinating storybooks and adventurous novels to informative encyclopedias and important reference books. The librarian, Mrs. Das, is very helpful and always guides us to find the books we need. We are required to maintain complete silence, which helps everyone to concentrate on their reading. I often borrow storybooks to read at home. We have a library card to issue and return books within a specific period. Sometimes, I just sit at one of the large wooden tables and browse through magazines and newspapers to increase my general knowledge. The calm and disciplined atmosphere of the library allows me to explore new worlds and discover amazing facts. It's a peaceful sanctuary that encourages the wonderful habit of reading.
