How to Change Narration

(কিভাবে Narration পরিবর্তন করবেন)

Breakdown: Direct to Indirect Speech

When the reporting verb (e.g., “says”) is in the present tense, the tense of the reported speech does not change.

Direct Speech

He says, “I write a letter.”

Rule 1: Reporting Verb

“says” remains “says”.

Rule 2: Conjunction

Remove “,” and “” and add “that”.

Rule 3: Pronoun Change

“I” changes to “he” (matches subject).

Rule 4: Verb Change

“write” becomes “writes” (to agree with “he”). Tense stays the same.

Indirect Speech

He says that he writes a letter.
