English Lesson Slideshow: My Birthday Party

Topic: My Birthday Party

1. Introduction

My birthday is the most exciting day of the year for me. Last month, I celebrated my tenth birthday, and my parents organized a wonderful party. They invited all my close friends and cousins. In the morning, we decorated the house with colourful balloons and ribbons. My mother prepared a delicious chocolate cake and many tasty snacks. When my friends started to arrive in the evening, they all wished me and gave me beautifully wrapped gifts. We played many fun games like musical chairs and passing the parcel. The best moment was when I cut the cake while everyone sang the “Happy Birthday” song for me. I blew out the candles and made a secret wish. My father captured all the happy moments on his camera. We all enjoyed the party a lot. Receiving so much love and so many presents made me feel very special and thankful.
