How to Use Conjunctive Adverbs for Addition
Conjunctive Adverb হলো এমন শব্দ যা দুটি স্বাধীন বাক্যকে (independent clause) যুক্ত করে এবং তাদের মধ্যে সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করে।
গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নিয়ম: সাধারণত, এই Adverb-গুলির আগে একটি সেমিকোলন (;) এবং পরে একটি কমা (,) বসে।

1. additionally / in addition (এছাড়াও / অতিরিক্তভাবে)
একটি বক্তব্যের সাথে আরও একটি নতুন তথ্য যোগ করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Simple: The hotel offers a swimming pool. It has a modern gym.
Joined: The hotel offers a swimming pool; additionally, it has a modern gym.
2. also / moreover / furthermore (তাছাড়া / অধিকন্তু)
আগের বক্তব্যের গুরুত্ব বাড়িয়ে আরও একটি জোরালো তথ্য যোগ করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Simple: The new car is very spacious. It is fuel-efficient.
Joined: The new car is very spacious; moreover, it is fuel-efficient.
Simple: I don’t want to go to the party. The music will be too loud.
Joined: I don’t want to go to the party; furthermore, the music will be too loud.
3. besides (এছাড়া / পাশাপাশি)
একটি কারণ বা তথ্যের পাশাপাশি আরেকটি কারণ যোগ করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Simple: The movie is too long. I don’t like the main actor.
Joined: The movie is too long; besides, I don’t like the main actor.
