How to Use Conjunctive Adverbs
Conjunctive Adverb হলো এমন শব্দ যা দুটি স্বাধীন বাক্যকে (independent clause) যুক্ত করে এবং তাদের মধ্যে সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করে।
গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নিয়ম: সাধারণত, এই Adverb-গুলির আগে একটি সেমিকোলন (;) এবং পরে একটি কমা (,) বসে।

Type 1: To Show Addition (তথ্য যোগ করতে)

Simple: The new car is very spacious. It is fuel-efficient.
Joined: The new car is very spacious; moreover, it is fuel-efficient.
Type 2: To Show Contrast (বিপরীত ধারণা প্রকাশ করতে)

দুটি বিপরীত, অপ্রত্যাশিত বা ভিন্ন ধারণাকে যুক্ত করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Simple: He studied hard for the test. He did not pass.
Joined: He studied hard for the test; however, he did not pass.
Type 3: To Show Cause and Effect / Result (কারণ ও ফল বোঝাতে)

একটি কারণের প্রত্যক্ষ ফল বা যৌক্তিক উপসংহার বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Simple: He did not study for the test. He failed.
Joined: He did not study for the test; consequently, he failed.
Type 4: To Show Sequence or Time (ক্রম বা সময় বোঝাতে)
afterward, finally, meanwhile, next, subsequently, then
ঘটনার ক্রম, সময় বা শেষ ধাপ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Simple: First, chop the vegetables. Heat the oil in a pan.
Joined: First, chop the vegetables; then, heat the oil in a pan.
Type 5: To Show Emphasis or Example (গুরুত্ব বা উদাহরণ দিতে)
