👨‍đŸĢ Teacher's Note

Hello students! Today we will learn about one of the seven wonders of the world—the Taj Mahal. Through the story of Tarun and his grandfather, we will travel back to the time of Emperor Shah Jahan and discover why this beautiful monument was built.

The Story Begins

Tarun, a class five student, was worried about writing a paragraph on the Taj Mahal. His grandfather told him the story of Prince Khurram (son of Jehangir), who fell in love with Arjumand Banu Begum at Meena Bazaar.

14 God Helps Those Who Help Themselves

Once a cart-man was driving his cart along a muddy road. Suddenly, the wheels sank deep into the mud. The cart-man did not try to pull it out. Instead, he started praying to God for help. A voice from heaven said, "Put your shoulder to the wheel and try yourself." The cart-man tried hard, and the cart moved.

Moral: God helps those who help themselves.

16 A Tree Plantation Drive

Last week, our school organized a Tree Plantation Drive. All the students and teachers participated with great enthusiasm. We planted around fifty saplings in our school garden and the surrounding areas. Our Headmaster gave a short speech on how trees provide us with oxygen and keep the environment cool. We promised to water the plants every day. It was a wonderful experience to contribute to nature.
