ঝিনুক তার মায়ের সাথে আলিপুরদুয়ারে থাকে, আর তার বাবা কলকাতায় কাজ করেন। ঝিনুক তার বাবার কাছে কলকাতার মেট্রো রেলের মতো আশ্চর্যজনক গল্প শোনে। একদিন বাবার আসার কথা থাকলেও কাজের জন্য তিনি আসতে পারেন না, এতে ঝিনুক খুব দুঃখ পায়। সেই রাতে সে এক অদ্ভুত স্বপ্ন দেখে।
